Rapid Connect is an
open-source client that incorporates multiple peer-to-peer
protocols into the one interface via plug-ins. These plug-ins
can be developed by anyone and can extend Rapid Connect to
popular peer-to-peer networks such as: gnutella, open-napster,
edonkey2000 and fast-track. Although currently in alpha state
(minimal functionality), the project is coming along nicely, and
we welcome you to test it and give suggestions.
Rapid Connect requires, Windows 98 or greater and the .NET
Framework 1.1 installed (available to download
here). To compile the source code, Visual Basic .NET (2002)
or greater is required.
